In continuation of the previous two messages, the type of people that have been discussed need to pray or make decisions again to become Christians, but this time, they need to repent before they trust Jesus' death on the cross and His shed blood to erase their sins.

As John the Baptist was preparing the way for Jesus by explaining repentance in the third chapter of Luke, people asked him how they needed to be willing to live (or repent). Luke 3:10-14 shares this, "10And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? 11He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. 12Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do? 13And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you. 14And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages."

Therefore, people who love to repeatedly insult and talk bad about those they are jealous of in order to make themselves feel better about themselves, need to admit this to God and let Him know that they want to end this bitterness, jealously, behavior, and all other sins. They "will" try to stop these things with His help after they tell Him that they trust Jesus' death on the cross and His shed blood to erase their sins and believe Jesus arose from the dead. In other words, they need to repent.
